Requirements

    F: For which operating systems is BASIC BACKUP available?
    A: BASIC BACKUP is based on JAVA and can therefore run on all systems with an installed JAVA Runtime environment (JRE). This includes as an example Windows and Linux.

    F: Do I need a different version of BASIC BACKUP for every operating system?
    A: The same version of BASIC BACKUP can be used on different operating systems together with a instance of the JAVA Runtime Environment (JRE).

    F: Which JAVA version do I need?
    A: For the developement, version 1.6.0_01 is beeing used. We advise to use at least this version on your computer.

Pricing and updates

    F: What does BASIC BACKUP cost?
    A: The PERSONAL version of BASIC BACKUP (limited functionality; for private use only) is free. The FULL version costs 19,99€ (euro).

    F: Which payment options are available?
    A: While a bank transfer to a german bank account stays the primary payment method, you can also use PayPal (credit card use is possible).

    F: Do i get an incoice?
    A: After your payment has been received you will get a german invoice (including taxes) together with the license file in an e-mail.

    F: What about updates for the full version?
    A: All updates for the FULL version are free for 6 months. The license file contains an expiration data. You can run every version of BASIC BACKUP released prior to that date with your license file as FULL version.
